Pool Membership Status Update

A message from the Shetlands HOA Board of Directors: 
The Shetlands HOA Board met with the Westwind Board today. We are working to resolve the ongoing matters and hope to have news on Westwind offering pool memberships to Shetlands homeowners by the end of next week. Unfortunately, this will not be resolved prior to the upcoming Memorial Day holiday. We appreciate your patience in this matter and we assure you that we are doing everything we can to come to an agreement so that the Shetlands community is able to access the pool.

Shetlands Lawsuit Statement

The following statement was read to all attendees at the February 6, 2023 annual meeting and is being shared with all owners accordingly.

Report Deed Restriction & Rules Violations
Due to continuing complaints, including but not limited to parking issues, noise complaints, unsightly and unkempt property and unapproved building improvements which go against the Shetlands HOA Deed Restrictions, the Shetlands HOA board approved to engage with Tamara Walters & Community Association Team as our property management company for the 2023 year. As part of this service, the company provides the Shetlands HOA semi-monthly drive-thru inspections to identify previous violations and to follow-up on previous violations for compliance.  These services also include the mailing of violation notices to owners, as well as the issuance of windshield tag violations for on-street parking violations such as excessive on-street parking, parking in the incorrect direction or blocking of sidewalks.
Please be advised that Board approval is required prior to the issuance of letters that contain fines.
